I decided to illustrate the joke, A letter walks into a bar, and the bartender says 'we don't serve your type'. I had a basic scene pop in to my head, of a letter also as the bartender and the letter walking into the bar is of a font that everyone hates, which naturally lead me to the shameful typeface that is comic sans. So it's a bit of a mini joke within a joke, the colour of the comic sans character would also be a horrible bright colour, that you would see on a kids classroom poster.

I established a basic bar scene using simple shapes and created a few bottles to scatter about to help show that the setting is a bar. I think the poster successfully communicates the message of delivering a dumb joke, it's straightforward, simple and not very detailed. If anything I think that the addition of bottles almost over clutters the scene too much. I have uploaded a version without bottles to compare
